Kickstarting Healthy Lifestyles
With over a decade of experience, and as a Certified American Council of Exercise Trainer, I've trained elite athletes aiming for the Olympics, as well as mountain climbers targeting some of the world’s highest peaks. Others have just begun their journey towards fitness, or they are recovering from serious injuries or illnesses. I'm passionate about what I do, and I'm constantly studying and upgrading my skills. Many of my clients have been with me for years, and most new clients come through referrals.
I'm confident that whatever your goals are, I can help you achieve them.
One of my most rewarding training experiences was working with a client who had a long-term illness. We targeted improved balance, core strength, and incorporating stretching into his daily life. After four months, he reported that he was able to sleep through the night, and that his doctor had cut both the frequency and dosage of his pain killers. This to me was a success over and above my wildest expectations, and experiences like this are why I became a Personal Trainer.
A new client was thrilled when after six months of working with me, she was able to complete a round of golf. She no longer suffered from back pain after the eighth hole. She has now trained with me for over five years, and most days she incorporates an activity into her life over and above the gym. Improved cardio and strength, as well as more flexibility are all incredibly important. But they are only a means to what is really important - A better, more fulfilling, and happier life!
My loyalty is to my clients, and only to my clients. I'm free to choose whatever gym is best suited to your needs. My compensation isn't geared to selling expensive packages, equipment that you don't need, or dietary supplements that probably do more harm than good.
The right fit is important when choosing a gym. I've established excellent relationships with a number of local gyms on the Northshore. Accessibility and availability, equipment, cleanliness, and cost are all some of the criteria that I consider when choosing a gym.
Many clients prefer to train outdoors, so I have secured all of the necessary licenses to train my customers in every outdoor park in both the District and City of North Vancouver. Finally, a number of my clients train remotely via Zoom.
As an Independent Trainer, I'm not tied to any one location. What's important is what's best for you.
